There are milestones a company announces, and there are milestones the industry announces for you. This is the second kind.

BusinessDay, Nigeria’s leading business newspaper, has featured Hontar Projects in a publication titled “The Trust Dividend: Inside Hontar Projects’ Rise in Nigerian Real Estate.”

The feature comes on the heels of another proud moment for our team. Our CEO, Deji Fasunwon, was honoured with a BusinessDay Bulls Award, recognising his contributions to real estate development in Nigeria.

The Journey So Far

The award and feature capture a journey we are proud to have built: six years of developing homes across Lagos on a simple, non-negotiable standard of trust, quality, and delivery.

From Marshal Mews in Magodo to Sylver Court in Oregun, every completed and sold out project has contributed to the next, allowing us to grow in scale and ambition while remaining grounded in the standards that shaped Hontar Projects from the beginning.

But perhaps the most meaningful number is not 75. It’s how many of those clients came back for a second, or third, property.

In real estate, where a single purchase can represent years of savings, that kind of repeat trust cannot be bought with advertising. It has to be earned, one delivered project at a time.

What’s Next

The BusinessDay feature also looks ahead to what comes next for Hontar Projects: a significantly larger residential community that brings together the experience, market knowledge, client relationships, and institutional capacity we have built over the years.

The recognition is meaningful, but the responsibility it represents is even greater. We will keep building, keep delivering, and keep earning the trust that brought us this far.
